with UTTER MADNESS
On a GREY DAY in October 1999 I saw the UTTER MADNESS band perform for the third time. This gig was part of the FRIDAY NIGHT OUT series organised by the Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education Students Union, and held at the Park Campus.
The band started with ONE STEP BEYOND, and continued with songs like THE PRINCE, MY GIRL, NIGHT BOAT TO CAIRO, DRIVING IN MY CAR, OUR HOUSE, MADNESS, BAGGY TROUSERS and SHUT UP, to name but a few.
Another track that they performed was BLUR's PARK LIFE quite apt considering it was at the Park Campus.

Although I enjoyed the concert I felt the audiance were an EMBARRASSMENT because they never really gave the band any encouragement.
